The value of life cannot be quantified. The realization that we are the universe gazing in awe at itself cannot be valued or even understood. Yet, as humanity continues its relentless expansion and deterioration, the possibility of experience diminishes. Forests are paved and ice melts. Plastic finds its ways into blood, brains and lungs.

One day, not too long now, not in a fictional word but rather the one that you and I live in, our relentless expansion and parasitism will catch up to us. Our creations in an attempt to encapsulate the wonder of the golden era, be it songs, script or video, will be all that remains of the old world. But that is something to worry about in the future. For now, the wonder still exists in those distant untouched parts of the world for those who dare try to find it.
