Roman Squamata Scale Waist

Roman squamata armor consisted of small, overlapping metal scales sewn onto a fabric or leather backing, creating a flexible and durable protective layer. The scales were typically made of bronze, iron, or brass, and arranged in rows to cover the torso and sometimes the shoulders. Squamata armor offered good protection against cutting attacks while maintaining mobility, and was commonly worn by Roman soldiers, especially in the later periods of the Empire.
