The Sheriff really made a "change" of character in the up and coming Madness Game: Project Nexus 2. Some small details not entirely visible to the in game character is compared to the concept are drawing is the Sheriff stitched his face back on and magically recovered from the stab wound in episode 3. He can do this because he's the Sheriff.
