Ned Kelly's Scrap Helmet

Ned Kelly was an Australian outlaw in the late 1800s -- best known for his distinctive suit of armor worn during the siege of Glenrowan. The armor was made in the bush, presumably by Kelly sympathizers, out of stolen plough mouldboards, and worked quite well -- the real armor, at the State Library of Victoria, has an amazing eighteen bullet-marks.
