There is a myth that earwigs crawl in peoples' ears, but in reality they, in fact, do not. While they are omnivorous, they do not eat brains. These strange insects are commonly found in gardens, and if you're lucky, you just might find a nest of them under a brick or stone. Earwigs are also very good mothers, diligently protecting their vulnerable eggs from mould and keeping them spotless to ensure a successful hatching.
