Further testing and experimentation with the already familiar AN/VIS-19 variants, it has been concluded that the field of view could be enhanced, and that the systems has room for various different vision modes instead of just one type of vision, from Thermal to Night vision. The integrated Thermal system allows for quick target acquisition for the user.

This Version is a helmet mount that uses a traditional NVG rack.
