Lost Truth [Horror]

While investigating the missing case of a local private detective, a man, previously a detective, John S. uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, eerie lantern circulating throughout the woods. As soon as anyone uses the lantern, he or she has exactly 203 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look mirrored.

John gets hold of the lantern, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into his mind: a creepy creature balancing on a vast lighthouse, an old newspaper headline about an imprisoned accident, and a hooded cat ranting in a dark place.

When John notices his head has different properties, he realizes that the curse played him. He needs to escape to revert the curse.
